With features like electric start and adjustable brake bias, the HRT Pro Kart gets you to the front of the pack sooner, and keeps you there longer. The suede wrapped SPARCO Formula 1 style steering wheel houses an electric start button on the left and a digital Vapor display in the center keeps the driver informed of critical things like water temperature and RPM.
Located in the sleek dash of the Pro Kart, sits a fully adjustable brake bias valve to let the driver adjust braking according to the conditions, and on the fly.
The Pro Kart also features unrivaled steering angle so you can counter steer out of huge 4 wheel drift slides. This is achieved with precision machined and anodized spindles, front double wishbones, front hubs, and steering rack, all whittled out of premium aircraft alloy. All these parts are built exclusively for HRT Motorsports by DIRT Racing Products. In addition, all four wheels spin on tapered roller bearings for low friction, high loads and low maintenance. The front spindles have replaceable steering arms that allow them to be symmetrical and utilize a hollow snout for the ultimate in strength.
Innovative ideas like linear asymmetrical dual rear shocks and concentricly positioned countershaft sprocket offer benefits that leave the competition scratching their heads. The concentricly positioned countershaft sprocket allows nearly constant chain tension which provides lower friction and longer maintenance intervals. The linear asymmetrical dual rear shocks,coordinated engine, and radiator location help this junior sized race truck to have one of the lowest centers of gravity and highest concentration of mass which all contribute to the excellent handling characteristics.
